 Centrifugal Extractor Motorized operated:

The Centrifuge Extractors are utilized for assurance of bitumen rate in hot blended clearing blends and asphalt tests. The blend is included with a dissolvable and broke up bitumen is evacuated by divergent activity. The Extractors are available in two versions, Hand operated and motorized electrically driven.

The Centrifuge Extractor motorized version is provided with a variable speed control device and a handbrake to stop rotation when switched off. The electric motor is of 0.25 HP capacity coupled to a geared assembly. Suitable for operation on 230 Volts, 50 Hz, AC single phase.

 Specifications of Centrifugal Extractor:

Centrifuge Extractor, Electrical Operation, Capacity 1500g, with a Dimmer stat for speed control from 2,400 to 3,600 rpm. Suitable for operation on 230 V, 50 Hz, Single Phase, A.C. supply. Used for the determination of bitumen percentage in bituminous mixtures. It consists of a removable, precision machined aluminum rotor bowl (accessory 1500 or 3000 g capacity), housed in a cylindrical aluminum box.

The separate control board joins an electronic card fitted with AC drive that naturally drives the bowl speed turn incline from 0 to 3600 R.P.M. as requested by Standards, with programmed quick stop bowl turn toward the finish of the test. Provided finish with a speed controller and digital display monitoring the recurrence. Power supply: 230 V A.C. Single Phase.

Recommended Accessories & Consumables:

The following accessories and consumables are not part of the standard supply and are mandatory for the testing work.

1.Used for determination and checking of bitumen percentage in bituminous mix
2.Consists of a removable aluminum rotor bowl, capacity 1500 gms.
3. This shaft and bowl is rotated by an electric motor and gear
4. The solvent is introduced during the test through the holes in the cap of the housing.
5. A drain is provided to collect dissolved bitumen coming out of the rotating bowl and getting collected in the housing.
6. Operates on 230 Volts A.C. single phase. Accessories
